Learn Anita Goodesign Christmas Classics with Sue
Sue is well versed in all the Anita Goodesign methods and will help you have success and fun creating this fun quilt!
There are 4 sizes of blocks in the software. The display quilt was made with the “A” blocks
Hoops used are :
I used a variety of fabrics including velour, short nap fake fur, and other Christmas fabrics with texture for the appliques

Hoops used are :
- 360x200 (big blocks and folded fabric blocks)
- 240x150 (large rectangle blocks), 120x120 (small square blocks)
- No Show Mesh stabilizer (stays in the quilt)
- batting (80/20 works well)
- A variety of coordinating Christmas fabrics, small prints work great!
- Folded fabric “A” blocks are 7.8x7.8 (using different widths of fabric*)
- The big “A” blocks are 7.8” by 11.8” (9x13 inches*)
- The large “A” rectangle blocks are 7.8x3.8 ( 9x5 inches*)
- The small square “A” blocks are 3.8” x 3.8” (5x5 inches*)
I used a variety of fabrics including velour, short nap fake fur, and other Christmas fabrics with texture for the appliques
You will also need:
- Fabric glue pen
- a roll of masking tape or blue painters tape
- embroidery threads including metallic
- Embroidery needles and metallic needle
- Embroidery Machine in good working order
- Imagination and patience!
- Trimming scissors
I will teach you the techniques to get them done!
You can make a large quilt (display is 61” x 61”)
You choose the blocks you want to do!!
a lap quilt, a bed runner, wall hanging, pillows or all of the above!!!
