Diagonal Placemats
This project is an easy, quilt-as-you-go place-mat with 2 options for embellishment.
Option 1 has decorative stitches that are centered on the diagonal seams. With this option you’ll learn how to use the edge join foot to keep your decorative stitches in line.
Option 2 uses either ribbon or bias tape to create separation between the stripes. This option teaches you how to use the fancy trim foot and a twin needle to achieve perfect placement of the ribbon.

o Stripe Color 1: 1/8 yard ½ yard
