• Sewing machine, a quarter inch foot and edge stitching foot are helpful.
• Microtex 90 or Denim 100 machine needle. Hand needles
• Coordinating or contrasting threads
• Iron and pressing surface
• Marking or chalk pen, scissors, rotary cutter and mat, pins
• Olfa 45 mm needed for the double diamond ruler with new or sharp blade
• Easy Peazy Twistin’ Diamonds Tote Pattern
• Double Diamond Ruler
• Soft and Stable for main bag interfacing (1 package 18” x 58”)
• Steam a seam 2 or light/or Heat and Bond Lite: 3/8 yard (17” wide)
• Pellon #987 Fusible /fleece for tote handles and pocket lining
• Magnetic Snap closure
• You will need Dark, Medium and Light fabrics.
• Main Fabric : dark value and bag body and diamonds: ¾ yard, more yardage for one way
• Lining fabric: Medium value for handles, pockets and diamonds: 1 3/8 yard
• Diamond fabric: lightest value for diamonds and handles: 5/8 yard
