Supplies
• Book "Stack, Slash & Sash" (included in price of class)
• Scraps (minimum 2"x6") or jelly rolls to use in "stripping"
• 1 yard fabric for top, 1 yard fabric for bottom (this will make 4 generous sized placemats) (16" x 18" placemat)
• 1 yard muslin
• 1 package "Soft & Stable" (36"x 58") or batting of equal measurement (16" x 18" for each placemat)
• Thread to match (50 weight cotton for piecing preferred), Any type of thread for quilting
• Walking foot (dual feed)
• Rotary cutter, Mat & ruler (12" long minimum)
• Wonder clips (optional but recommended) or pins
• Steam-a-seam 2, 1/4" wide roll (optional but recommended)
• Left edge top-stitch foot (optional but recommended)
• Microtex 80 needle, Universal 75 needle
• add-a-quarter
• Thread snips
• iron, pressing mat and best press
• Sewing machine in good working order
