Supplies: Students need to bring 6, 10 inch squares of batiks (light & darks) and 2, 6 inch squares of cotton batting (for the leaf applique). 2, 10 inch squares of batiks ( 1 light and 1 dark) and 1, 10 inch square of solid dark cotton for the sample of the bag applique. 1/2 yard of fusible (steam a seam II), embroidery thread & sewing thread. Your sewing machine needs to be able to do a satin stitch.
