A Little Somethin' Jacket with Joan
Did you give up on sewing your own clothes when the garment didn?t fit properly and sat in the closet never worn? This jacket is the answer! First there are eight sizes included with the pattern so you can select the right size for you. Second the flowing design fits loose so you don?t need to worry about this garment collecting dust in your closet. This jacket is extremely versatile. It works great with a medium weight fabric. Check out the photos ? that include a cotton batik, a rayon batik, silky polyester. The sample in the store is from a soft knit.

During this 2-session class we will go from yardage of fabric to a fun Tunic top that you will get lots of compliments when you wear it. You will learn how to lay out a pattern and cut out the pieces. Then you will learn the basics of garment construction, tips on how to work with stretch knit fabrics and how to finish the tunic with top stitching.
