Hazel the Hedgehog goes BIG in Embroidery!

Blocks come in 3 sizes:

• BIG:  260x260
• MED:  200x200
• SMALL: 150x150

Hazel is an applique and stitches with a BEAN stitch raw edge. FAST, FUN, CUTE and BIG.  Even better, we have the quilting embroidery files!  Join us to learn how to make this fun pillow, wall hanging or table runner.  You can make it bigger for a quilt.



Supplies needed:

• Embroidery machine with all embroidery parts
• Embroidery hoops (150x150 or 200x200 or 260x260)
• power cord & foot control
• stabilizer to match hoop
• background fabric to match hoop
• 3 fat quarters:  1 for face, 1 for body & legs, 1 for back.
• Thread for nose & eyes.
• Thread for glasses
• Bobbin fill
• Matching thread for the fat quarters used in applique
• Applique scissors
• You will be provided in class:
  • Elizabeth Hartman pattern for Hazel the Hedgehog II (required for copyright)
  • design files for embroidery - please provide a usb stick at class for these files to be copied onto.
  • handout of the embroidery stitch-outs.

We will stitch ONE hog and then quilt it for a simple wall quilt.  We will discuss how to do a 4 block quilt  and pillow.  Instructions will be provided on these other options.
