Machine Owner's 3: New Sewing/Embroidery Machine Owner's Class-- basic embroidery

This class is for those who have just purchased an embroidery machine. It is for Singer, Viking & Pfaff embroidery machines ONLY.

Topics: You will learn the proper threads, stabilizers and basic hooping techniques to successfully embroider on your machine. Positioning and manipulating your embroidery designs once you load them onto the machine will also be introduced. You will save and stitch a simple design as well as recover from a variety of failures during your embroidery.

Supplies:

Your new embroidery machine and embroidery arm
your smallest hoop
1 Fat quarter in light solid color
1 piece of tear-away stabilizer big enough for your hoop
3 different colored rayon or polyester embroidery threads
1 bobbin with embroidery bobbin fill or 1 pre-wound
scissors to cut fabric
scissors to cut thread (thread snips)
Machine accessories that came with your machine
Owners manual
power cord
foot control
