Caddy Pad or Caddy Pad JR Pattern (includes heat-resistant material) - provided at class
1 package of Insul-Bright (1 yard x 45")
(Jr - 1 fat quarter) (Large ¾ yard) of main fabric
(Jr - fat quarter) (Large ½ yard) fabric for binding and handles
If you want contrasting handles, bring an extra fat quarter
We will provide elastic for closures
(2) 1” or larger pretty buttons (shank buttons work best)
Walking Foot (optional but really does help) Pfaff IDT is your walking foot.
Micro Tex needle size 90
Cotton thread to match or contrast main fabric, cotton thread to contrast or match handles.
Cotton thread on bobbin to match silver heat resistant fabric
Craft-fuse for handles will be provided
General Supplies:
SHARP large Scissors
Thread snips
pins (wonder clips work better)
Roxanne Glue Baste (GL1 or GL2)
Frixon Pen
sewing machine in good working condition with power cord & foot control
Walking foot or IDT on machine
505 spray adhesive (or other temporary basting spray)
Pre-class Work:
Please follow above fabric requirements, not the list from the pattern. Please bring them pre-cut to these dimensions:
Please precut main fabric to (JR 18" x 22") (Large 21” x 28”).
Please precut Binding:
JR - (2) 2 ½” x WOF strips (this is a 5" strip fabric cut)
LARGE (3) 2 1/2" x WOF strips (this is a 7 1/2" fabric cut)
Please precut Handles: (4) 2” x 15” (Two of outside handle fabric, two of inside handle fabric)
