TEENS Bag it up: 13+ bagging it ....sewing a variety of bags including zippers & box corners

This class is designed for the junior sewing enthusiast who has had some machine sewing experience.  

Limit of students is 4

Supplies needed:  (students need to bring the items in red below)

• Sewing machine -we will provide a sewing machine for students to use in class
• Sewing kit which includes:    (we have this for purchase for $10 or you can make your own)
  
  • fabric scissors
  • thread snips
  • thread
  • extra bobbin
  • pins
  • safety pins
  • tape measure
  • chalk pencil or other fabric marking tool
  • hand-sewing needle
• Small iron (we will provide one that will be disinfected before class)
• Ironing mat (we will provide one that will be disinfected before class)
• Mask (to be worn at all times)
• Fabric and notions for projects (see instructor or store staff)
• Each bag will have a kit of fabric & notions (vinyl, cork, zippers, closures) which will be provided.  Students will be encouraged to pick their own fabric and colors for the bags.
