Wooden building and Landscape quilting with Carol Lang
This may not look like a beginner class, but instructor Carol Lang assures us that it is. During this three-day workshop you’ll learn how to make a pattern, construct a wooden building and build a beautiful landscape around it, working from your own photograph. You’ll end up with a finished art quilt that looks like your original photograph.
Carol is a national teacher and an award-winning art quilter who’s been published in Quilting Arts Magazine and had quilts in numerous national quilt shows including AQS Paducah and Mancuso in Philadelphia. She made her first quilt by hand at age 11 and began making art quilts in 2008. Carol has taught more than 500 students her unique landscape technique, most of them beginner quilters. As much as she loves to sew, her true passion is teaching, and she has loads of tips and tricks to share with you.
