Point of view Table topper - making prairie points with Sue (Level 3 class)










Supplies:

  • Sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot control & accessories
  • NEW 80/12 topstitch needle
  • Scissors & thread snips
  • Pins and/or clips
  •  ¼” piecing foot
  •  Stiletto
  •  Point of View Table Topper pattern (included in class fee)
  •  Batting & fabric according to pattern
  •  Best Press spray
  •  Roxanne’s Glue-baste-it 2-way applicator
  •  505 spray basting 
  • Rotary cutter, cutting mat & small cutting ruler
  •  Monofilament thread
  •  80 weight thread – available at The Sewing Circle
  •  Personal iron
  • Pressing mat (Wool mat works great for this project)

 

Before Class:

  •   Read Through pattern and choose the size and cut your centerpiece fabric.
  •   Cut all your other fabrics per the cutting instructions.
  •   In class, we will be quilting your center block, placing it and all your prairie points on the template sheet, and stitching everything down.
