February - embroidering on T-shirts (stretch fabrics) Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order 240x150 hoop or larger a t-shirt that you can practice on. No-show mesh and dissolve-away stabilizers to fit your hoop Fusible lightweight interfacing for the back of the shirt (behind the embroidery) NEW 80/12 Universal needle Thread provided Scissors and/or thread snips
March - Using your magnetic hoop on paper-towel roll to make a "redwork" towel cover Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order Magnetic hoop a roll of paper towels 2-layers Aqua Magic to fit your hoop 505 temporary spray adhesive NEW 90/14 Universal needle 28 wt cotton Red thread (or your favorite color) Scissors and/or thread snips
April - Embroidering on Terrycloth towels or thick Fleece Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order 240mm x 150mm hoop or larger 1 terrycloth hand-towel 2-layers Aqua Magic to fit your hoop 1 layer of dissolve away topper NEW 80/12 Universal needle Thread will be provided Scissors and/or thread snips
May - Stain Glass embroidery Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order Largest SQUARE hoop you have 1/2 yard of organza for background (preferably 200x200 or 260x260) Terial Magic Spray stabilizer NEW 75/11 Embroidery Needle Thread will be provided Scissors and/or thread snips Hoop to mount the final piece.
June - Machine embroidered Appique for your summer beach bag Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order 240mm x 150mm hoop or larger 1/2 yard lightweight denim 1/2 yard fusible interfacing (light) 20" x 20" Steam-a-seam 2 20"x 20" for background of flip-flops NEW 80/12 Universal needle Thread will be provided Pattern for bag will be provided Scissors and/or thread snips
July - Embroidering "Embossed designs" on fabric with loft - like terrycloth or thick fleece. September - embroidery on rope-bowls Supplies needed: Embroidery machine in good working order. Bring your sewing accessories so that we can start your bowl 200mm x 200mm hoop or larger 1 roll clothesline matching thread to clothesline 2-layers Aqua Magic to fit your hoop 1 layer of dissolve away topper NEW 80/12 Universal needle NEW 90/14 Microtex needle Embroidery thread provided Scissors and/or thread snips
