Whirly Giggle Quilt Pattern: Beginning Paper piecing (in a different way) with Violet
Dates: Wed, Jan 20, 27, Feb 3 & 10. 1-3pm
Basic Supplies:
- Pattern is supplied with class fee – provided at signup
- Cutting mat & rotary cutter
- Sewing machine in good working order with power cord, foot control, accessories (screw driver, accessory feet)
- NEW 80/12 Universal Needle
- Rotary cutting rulers:
o 2.5” x 12.5” (with ¼” marked)
o 6.5” x 6.5” square
o 6.5” x 24.5”
- Rotary cutter with fresh (new) blade
- Rotary cutting mat (available in the classroom for use)
- Scissors and thread-snips, small sharp-pointed scissors
- 50 weight cotton thread (neutral) with matching bobbin
- Iron & pressing mat available in class
- Best press recommended
- Seam ripper
- REQUIRED: (4-8) flat-head pins (Magic Pins 2.0 fine or clover extra fine patchwork pins are recommended)
- Foundation paper or freezer paper (both of these will be shown in class.). We will provide this for you.
