Painting with Fabric Ink: Enhancing your Quilts & Garments

Enhancing your quilt with Ink and Paint.

This class is a chance for you to experiment with Fabric ink & paints.  This is a great way to enhance embroideries or just give some fabric a little color change.  All fabric will be provided so that you can try different techniques and enjoy enhancing fabrics.

We will be showing you a couple of examples of how these items can be used.  We will show you a couple of quilts that have been quilted then "inked", a denim jacket that has been embroidered and inked, a handtowel that has been embroidered and inked.

We will supply:
  1. Quilted Sandwich to paint on (Solid colored)
  2. Quilted Sandwich to paint on (strip fabric as in the quilt sample shown)
  3.  Embroidered Towel to paint on

Supplies you can use in class (you will want to purchase your own for home use- we will have them available for purchase with your class discount!)
