Bag it Up Club: Poolside Tote
This bag class is for an intermediate sewer. This bag has a ton of space and is a wonderful tote for on the go, grocery shopping or going to the beach!
This class is for an advanced beginner student. The student should be able to sew straight stitches using their machine, cut fabrics using scissors and rotary cutter/mat, and have sewn at least one project. This class will teach the student how to read a bag making pattern, work with more difficult fabrics, and construct a bag.

iron/ironing mat
rotary cutter/cutting mat/ruler
Recommended Fabrics: home dec, heavy linen, denim, canvas, twill, duck cloth, for exterior and lining. Quilting cotton for accent fabrics.

- Accent fabric (facing) 1/2 yard
- 10” zipper (optional)
- twill tape or ribbon 1” wide 4.5’’ piece or 4.5"x3.5" piece of heavy weight fabric
- *fusible woven interfacing (Pellon SF101 – 20’’ wide) 2 3/4 yards
- swivel clasp (1’’) or d-ring (1’’)
- Thread to match - all purpose
- Needle - 90 universal and microtex
- Sewing machine in good working order
