Camden Bowls





Make one of these beautiful zigzag stitched bowls.  We will teach you a great technique using fusible interfacing! We will be making one of the bowls during class, if you purchase one Jelly Roll, you can make all three sizes at home!

BOWL Supplies:

  • Pattern – Camden bowls
  • FABRIC
    • Small bowl-3/4 yard sides, ½ yard for binding and bottom (9 strips 2.5”x WOF)
    • Medium bowl-1 yard sides, ¾ yard for binding and bottom (12 strips 2.5” x WOF)
    • Large bowl- 1.25 yard sides, ¾ yard for binding bottom (15 strips 2.5” x WOF)
  • Thread - 50 weight cotton
  • 90/14 microtex needle
  • 110 Denim needle
  • SIDE INTERFACING 1 yard of double sided fusible batting or 1 roll of pre-cut batting (2.25” wide)
  • BOTTOM INTERFACING 1 yard for any size Use Peltex or Timtex (available at the store)
  • Binding Clips (small red ones) : optional
  • Scissors and rotary cutter/mat/ruler
  • Circle drawing tool (we have a fun ruler that will make any size circle)
  • Embellishments: Any type of your choosing.
  • Perfect Miter tool and Binding tool used to sew on binding. ( optional)
  • 1/4" piecing foot and stitch in the ditch with guides are helpful but not necessary
  • hand sewing needle
  • sewing machine with zigzag capability and in good working condition
