Summer Teen & Adult BEGINNING Garment Sewing
Ages 13+ and basic sewing knowledge. This is a BEGINNER garment class. You will need to pick a BEGINNER garment pattern. If you have never sewn before, we suggest some simple projects to get you started:
Pillow case, Pajama pants, simple skirt, Simple t-shirt........Let us help you find a pattern to start with!

This is a garment focused class.
Supplies:
- sewing machine in good working order (or use ours) and accessories
- Pattern for garment project (see us to make sure it is a good pattern for your ability) – we have some garment patterns here. Please see Melissa or Jo to pick a pattern or purchase one from HobbyLobby or JoAnn
- Fabric and notions as described on pattern
- New needle for the fabric you chose (use the appropriate needle for that fabric.)
- thread to match fabric
- scissors
- pins
- marking tools
- tape measure
