ITH (In The Hoop Club): Kimberbell - Quilted Baskets
These embroidery designs are only available in this club.
These Quilted Baskets by Kimberbell are quick & easy to make. Five designs in five graduated sizes. Choose from rectangle, square or hexagon shapes with fabric to match any décor. Ideal for organizing your sewing space, counter tops or using as a gift basket. All the hard work is done for you -- in the hoop!
Supplies to bring:
- Foot control, power cord & embroidery feet
- Scissors
- Thread snips
- Wound bobbin
- USB stick
- Microtex Needle, size 90/14
- Scissors
- Seam gauge
- Hoop Size: 180x130 minimum size - we will make the small size in class
- Cotton fabric
- Wound bobbin with construction fabric
- Wound bobbin same color as needle thread
Hoop sizes for making rectangle baskets:
- Extra Small 4x4”, (100x100)
- Small 5x7”, (180x130)
- Medium 6x10”,
- Large 8x12”
- Extra Large 9x14”
- Buttons – Each basket takes 4 buttons
- Embroidery thread in several colors (we will have available to use in class)
Kit is included in the class contains:
- Fibrous wash away stabilizer (Aqua Magic)
- Soft & Stable
- Fray Check(we will have available to use in class)
- Painter’s tape (we will have available to use in class)
- Button knife (we will have one available to use in class)
