A super large, roomy bag to carry everything! Perfectly matched seams, easy construction. The Mondo Bag uses the Quiltsmart grid interfacing technique.

We will be making the MONDO bag in the class
Supplies:
- Basic Sewing Supplies
- Machine in Good Working Order, foot control, power cord
- scissors, thread snips
- Thread for piecing 40 or 50 weight cotton or polyester to match
- Microtex 80 Needles
- Rotary Cutter and Mat
- 1 ¼ yard Fabric For Lining and Handles
- Mondo or Midi pattern with interfacing. - included in class fee
- Fabrics For Outside of Bag- This is an excellent scrap fabric project. Here are a few options for outside (you need only choose one):
- 10 Fat Eights- handles will be pieced
- Fabric scraps to create 240- 2 ½ inch squares- handles will be pieced (you can pre-cut these if you know how to cut correctly)
- 4 Fat Quarters- handles will be pieced
- We highly recommend a package of Fusi-boo batting or soft & stable for padding in your bag.
*if you want your handles NOT pieced then you will need an additional 1/8 yard of coordinating fabric.
Optional Supplies:
- Personal iron and pressing board
- Press your fabric with a spray starch (Best Press is our favorite).
