HOT LOGS (Potholders) - IN THE HOOP!
Hot Logs – Pot Holders, IN THE HOOP!
Ever want to make hot pads but were afraid you couldn’t get the binding on straight? This project is for you. Everything except the very last top stitch is done in the hoop – and without stabelizer, so there’s no picking out paper from the back of your pot holder.
There are 3 – 8 inch pot holder designs:
- Diagonal Logs
- Log Cabin
- Logs in a Square
Supplies:
- Fabric:
- Back – ½ Yard
- Logs – 10 colors – 2 in wide by width of fabic strips (or you could use leftovers from a jelly roll)
- Binding - 3 – 2.5in x width of fabric
- Terial Magic spray
- Insul-bright batting 10” x 30”
- Cotton Batting 10 x 30”
- Thread to match binding
- 200x 200 or larger hoop
